ABOUT US
The American Council of the Blind of Maryland is a state affiliate of the American Council of the Blind, which is the nation’s leading advocacy organization for blind and visually impaired people. The American Council of the Blind of Maryland is a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The American Council of the Blind of Maryland has chartered seven local chapters and affiliate organizations, they are:
National Capital Area Chapter, ACB of Maryland
Central Maryland Council of the Blind
Southern Maryland Council of the Blind
Northwest Chapter, ACB of Maryland
Tri-County Council of the Blind
Maryland Area Guide Dog Users
Randolph Sheppard Vendors of Maryland
